Blue Yeti Fix Cutting in/out and deeper voice

Thank you so much. I'm gonna try this fix and hope for the best because I am plugged into an extension. I have already lost a lot of work due to the slightest cutting out now and then. Thank you! I've had this problem seemingly randomly, but now I see that it's because sometimes when I set up stream I connect through USB Hub. You saved me a lot of troubleshooting time, I only had to google for 2 min!

saved my life this works on both my Red Yeti Classic and my Yeti x WOW mic. After so much contact with blue yeti support and them shipping me a new wire that is needed due to poor quality with the normal cable that comes with Yeti x WOW I finally got it fixed. I also advise that you guys dont use any 3rd prty apps for voice changes or Vocie mod. I would plug in my Yeti x WOW and connect it to Nvidia broadcast for noise cancellation and start up SLOBS and it would crash and cause mic to not work or not be recognized by pc. So basically just use it default, make sure it is connected directly to pc and dont use any filters or apps!!

I have this same issue but my blue yeti mic is and has always been plugged directly into my desktop front USB port. I guess I can try the rear USB ports instead?

The cutting in and out on discord may be caused by the echo cancellation setting, it was the problem with mine and hopefully it would work with yours.

What if you have only one USB slot? I’m still using a USB hub as well, but there is only one USB slot on the laptop. Maybe is there a way to turn down he amount of power it’s using?

I was in a Microsoft Teams meeting earlier today and the other attendees said I sounded like the devil. Switching the USB cable as suggested resolved the issue and brought my voice back from the dark side. Thanks!

You know I tried this and thought that's what it was at first too but I'm fairly sure that wasn't my issue because it's still doing it. I had my headphones plugged into it and moved that to the back of the computer and it helped a bit but sometimes it's still doing it.
