In "The Film the Shallows ," the shark attack scene is intense and gripping. As the surfer paddles out into the ocean, the tension builds with ominous music and shots of the vast, deep water. Suddenly, the peaceful scene is shattered as a massive great white shark lunges out of the water, grabbing the surfer and pulling them under with incredible force. The attack is swift and brutal, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as they witness the horrifying power of the ocean's apex predator.

When you’re in the ocean you’re actually part of a buffet table. Splashing around is just ringing the dinner bell😂😂😂

About 5 yrs. ago I was diving and was down about 10 fathoms (around 60 feet) and was slowly headed towards the surface, my diving partners were already on board, I was about midway and stopped to secure some gear, something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye, I turned and saw this massive shape coming into focus, what I saw was the most massive Great White shark I've ever seen, my heart stopped, I was terrified to even take a breath, I was completely terrified, I was in open ocean with absolutely no where to go with 5 fathoms between me and the suface or cover on the bottom, I froze as he slowly passed by me about 15 feet, but even more terrifying was heading to the surface, knowing Great Whites will often pass their potential meal, before coming swiftly in for the kill, so that 5 fathoms up was most terrifying moments of my life, trying to surface and looking 360 degrees watching and waiting for certain death, after getting to the boat they said I couldn't speak and looked like a zombie, they all gathered around and starting taking my gear off and trying to figure out if I was injured, I wasn't (but I was) that was my last open ocean dive I will ever do. Im even now having a bit of a panic attack just thinking about it, sorry I didn't mean to post such a long comment, be safe all

I haven't been past knee deep since 1977 when I saw jaws as a 10 year old 😂

I was abalone diving in Aug 2004 just north of Fort Bragg California. A white Shark the size of a pickup truck swam under our boat and turned 180° just above me and went back under our boat. I went from the sea floor into the boat in 1 move from 15ft deep. Once back on board my buddy tells me a 20 ft Great White passed under the boat and turned around traveling back under it again as it swam away. After catching my breath I told him I seen it and could have reached up and touched it. As we were making our way back we noticed a bunch of emergency vehicles heading north on the hwy and pulling into a cove just about 1/4 mile from us. We jokingly said it must have got a diver. And later we were horrified to find out it did. It had bitten the head off of a 50 year old diver named Randy Fry . The didn't recover his body until the next day and a week or so later his head was found on the shore . That was my first and last Abalone dive . And I've not gone back into the ocean for anything since. The shark was estimated to be 18 ft but we were on a 18 ft boat and my buddy said the shark was at least 2 ft longer and probably more like 3 to 3 and a half ft longer. I only know it was enormous and looked like the size of a full sized long bed pickup truck from my point of view.

I've noticed that people only ever have trouble with sharks when they're wet.

I used to boogie board and surf. When I was 16 my friend and I went to Virginia Beach for the first time without parents. We were pretty far out to where we couldn't touch when all the sudden we felt the water around us moving, an then what felt like sandpaper rub up against both of us. Then we were both slapped by its tail as it swam away. We both hauled ass back to shore and that was the very last time I've ever gone out past my waist. I took that as a blessing an warning from God. When you're in the ocean you're in their home. Its best to respect it.

Спасибо за интересные истории из жизни каждого комментатора . Хорошо что все остались живы, я даже в Чёрном море боюсь заплывать далеко от берега хотя знаю что там неводятся акулы

I grew up on the central coast in Australia and saw many great whites. One time it was close and I was out deep when Dolphins started swimming around where I was so I started to swim to shore. Looked back and glimpsed one the size of a VW. My heart just about exploded.

Years ago I was a PADI divemaster and we were taking a charter to Catalina for a class. I was on the roof of the bridge catching some sun, it was very calm and about mid channel a woman let out a scream. There was a great white cruising on the surface going in the opposite direction just a few feet from our 43’ boat. It was the size of a VW bus with a head and tail attached, it was huge. Needless to say we had somewhat of a difficult time convincing the students that the shark didn’t turn around and follow us to Catalina. I still remember this like it was yesterday and it happened over 20 years ago.
