What should I do if I revoke the durable power of attorney?

Pursuant to Florida law, you have to revoke the power of attorney and give notice to the agent to whom you gave the power. You can do this by either sending a revocation of a durable power of attorney certified mail return receipt requested, or hand delivering that document. If you hand deliver the document I would make a note as to the time and place that you gave that person the revocation, so that you have that information if needed in the future.
