I know how long a foot is and how long an inch is, but who in the hell knows what a centimeter is? Same with temperature. Everyone knows what 100 degrees feels like and 32 degrees and 0 degrees. We have a pretty good idea of what -35 might feel like, but who cares about Celsius? And who knows how hot 100 degrees Celsius is? Who knows what 16 degrees Celsius is?
