I always liked the fan theory that by being a human hybrid he got something other Viltrumites don't have, an adrenal gland. Getting what is essentially a combat drug in the middle of fights for free.

But, alas, just a fan theory

Emperor Invincible at the end of the series is quite older and experienced than his younger days. He has an army of Viltrumites at his command and has successfully brought peace to the galaxy. Although it's not confirmed it's safe to assume that he's the strongest character at the end of the series. Stronger than Thragg, Battle Beast, etc.

The biggest boost was his access to adrenaline due to being half human. Seriously, it’s the main reason why he manages to defeat some of his enemies early on, such as conquest.

I have a theory to add to this idea. It was made clear Viltrumites get stronger with time and age. I believe because he is part human his body ages (matures) faster than pure blood viltrumites.

Before someone comes at me with “wouldn’t that mean invincible’s brother hypothetically should be stronger because he ages even faster?” The answer is no. It is also established that human DNA is almost a perfect match for Viltrumite DNA. Marks DNA is purer so he has superior Viltrumite traits.

AtomEve also healed/revived Mark with a stronger body at one point as well to had to his overall strength

I thought it was because human beings have adrenaline and that plus super powers = holy shit. Plus i figured that his ability to love while other viltrimites don't (beginning of the story) also gives him the ability to hit another gear; because when you love someone or something youre willing to do anything to protect it.

I don't know if this is canon but I heard adrenaline also could have played a significant role since the viltrumites probably don't have that in their biochemistry

It's theory of my own but i think it's also he has been broken too many times i mean his bones got stronger as well unlike viltrumites they almost born perfect unlike humans. We on the other hand are fragile so mark got invincible by being simply half human.
