Episode 7 was excellently scripted and beautifully performed . The scene where Jesus teaches Nicodemus about being born again was truly breathtaking. My room was filled with a beautiful presence, the aura changed, it felt calm and peaceful. I was very teary and truly moved. The Chosen has given many people around the world hope. 🙏❤️

it's great to see roundtable discussions like this. too often Catholics and Evangelicals have vehemently disagreed on things and even ridiculed each other. i forget who it was that said if all Christians were united, the devil would be really worried.

Thank you for making The Chosen accessible to all Christians regardless of their denominations. Like many, I lived in a country where followers of Christ are persecuted and the oppressive majority didn’t care if you were Catholics or Protestants. Embrace each other as brothers and sisters as these theological arguments are a privilege we could no longer afford.

To be born again is to make a conscious decision to believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins & rose again to new life, and surrender all to follow Him. No one can decide that for me, not even my parents baptizing me as a baby. My true life transformation began when I made the decision as an adult, that's when the Holy Spirit took residence in my soul & showed me how to truly live. My baptism afterwards was an expression of that commitment as Jesus instructed us to in His word.

I love that the truth is being presented here. My Bible tells me that Pentecost is the day the church was born. The fathers promise fullfiled! As Jesus said I have a baptism of fire. 🔥 This conversation in John 3 is so essential for us to understand. To die to self and be filled. Born of the spirit.
I love the books of acts as we see the Holy Spirit move and thus we seek for the spirit to move through us. Beautiful!

Abba father, we come to you humbly and we ask that you would continue the good work you have begun in The Chosen.
I ask that you would give Dallas the strength, and courage, to continue in your work. Gibe him confidence and reassurance, Lord. Touch Jonathan as He is representing your son. May Christ continue to work through Jonathan as he lives a surrendered life to you, Lord. Father make yourself known through your Son, Jesus to many! If anyone reading this is unsure whether they are born again, ask the Lord Jesus today and settle it with Him, settle it in your heart once and for all because it is His gift, He will not withold the new birth from you.

To be born of water and Spirit is a throwback reference to creation activity in Genesis 1 where the Spirit was hovering over the waters. Likewise you are a new creation in Christ, a handiwork of God.

It is also a throwback reference to the Exodus, where God brought the children of Israel by a mediator (Moses) through the waters and also put His Spirit in them (just as Isaiah 63:11 says "Where is He who brought them up out of the sea
, with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them?" and also Nehemiah 6:20 says "You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, ").
Likewise, Jesus (our new Mediator) has carried you in His body through death, burial, resurrection and beyond in an exodus from the exile and slavery to sin, death and the wrath of God to the Heavenly Father.

Jesus is the true heavenly Israel and all those who are joined to His body. Grace and peace to you.

I love that the chosen tries to find the common ground between the different branches of Christianity, because most Christian media tries to exclude Catholics for some reason.

I thank you for this open talking . 50% that doesn’t believe in Jesus is an opening for The Chosen being used to watch and feel the huge pull to the love of Jesus in every episode. Most really have not a real knowing or felt loved by others. This project has you craving that, only the Son of God can fill you with. It’s beautifully done, Thank you!
