Pegasus Spyware Scam Email, Quickly Explained (2024)

This video is all about the Pegasus spyware scam email circulating in September 2024. Basically, Google users are searching for "Pegasus spyware scam email" because they want to know if it's legit. It is not legit. The scammers then claim they will release that evidence, whether it be videos, images, or other materials, to the victim's family and friends unless a certain amount of money is paid, usually through cryptocurrency or Bitcoin.

I had the exact same email today here's how to know that it's fake.
1. Check your sent folder, it will show all the emails you sent and that scam email will probably not be there even though they claim they sent it from your account
2. Send an email to yourself and you'll see that it will be delivered to your inbox not your spam folder

I literally got one yesterday in my email! They even attached a photo (from google maps) of my house, but they said the exact same thing!! It's so upsetting and disgusting people do this. I got one at 5am this morning and it crippled me for a few hours as well. I was freaking out. They had my name and telephone number and a picture of my neighbors house actually…..I’m happy to know it’s a scam. I’ve received this exact email probably 2 dozen times over the past couple of years.

At first I didn’t know if this was a real threat or not but decided to just ignore it and nothing happened - no videos of me in a ‘compromising position’ were sent out to all my e-mail contacts.

I hate these f-ing scammers.

I got the exact same email. The picture was of my neighbors house. It said it was keeping track of the adult videos I watch which I don’t watch adult videos so I knew it was a scam but scary nonetheless. Just the thought that someone can have access to all your personal information and could potentially control your life is terrifying.
