This song is really special to me because, while the story is adapted to fit the characters of Tubbo and Ranboo, it’s taken from my personal life.

It’s really hard to watch someone you love struggle with depression + anxiety. It’s easy to feel helpless, but sometimes the best we can do is give them a hug and tell a funny story. Stay safe friends <3

My wife and I very much enjoyed this song when I shared it with them. The concept of home has been very meaningful to us; our relationship started long distance, so bringing them home was so meaningful. Our wedding song was Ed Sheeran's Photograph with the line "Wait for me to come home". My wife also suffers from depression and severe anxiety, so that side also connected. We danced in the kitchen together to this song, for the first time in a while.

The delivery of "When the sun goes dark tonight, would you promise to stay and fight?" HURTS. I'm in PAIN. Your voice is CRYING! It's masterful, I can't. Every word just stabs right home. I can tell this song means a lot to you, the emotions I hear there are are so... so real.

I could go off for hours about how good you are at the final verses of songs, with the perfect swell in the instrumental and glorious conclusion. Every one of your songs has it, just the amazing final verse and chorus, and I love it so much. It's not easy to get it right every time, but you do.

She’s such a creative person as well, all the music she has wrote always takes my breath away because you can tell how much heart she puts into her art. man, this song really hits hard for me. some months after quarantine started, one of my friends started telling me over text that he was having thoughts about taking his own life (and sent me scars he had made on himself). I was the only person he could reach out to - the only real friend he had. thankfully I was able to help him get in touch with a therapist and he's doing much better now, but this song just made me think of the multiple times I stayed up late just talking to him to keep him from hurting himself. anyway, I'm rambling- this song is just so beautiful and everything about its message even beyond the dsmp characters it's about is so important <33

I love how extreme the lyrics are and how casually you sing them. You are basically singing " the world may end tomorrow, but as long your with me im fine" and its so true to their relationship, there life is absolute hell fire, but they found love, they found a home.
