The voice direction of Orel is like a character that's never supposed to actually experience genuine sadness or at least not real world problems, it weighs on my heart just hearing him speak.

Seeing Orel lose all faith in his father is one of the most emotionally raw arcs ever

It’s interesting how Stopframe, depraved and selfish as he is, legitimately finds Clay to be despicable in the end. That his behavior and what he’s done to Orel are finally enough for him to draw a hard line.

The end where he becomes a loving father made me happy. It was a funny and weird show but it felt nice Oral got a happy ending after having to live with shitty parents as a kid.

Many people are taking coaches response as just a joke but it's kinda wild that Coach Stopframe, a man obsessed with Orels dad, is genuinely shocked to hear that Orel thinks his parents have a good relationship.

You've crushed my life my introducing me to this show.

Best part of Moral Orel is when you get hit with these dark plot changing revelations immediately followed by a joke...

Moral oral taught me that the only real monsters there are in the world are adults who don't want to face reality for what it is. And in the end oral shows that he's better than that and even managed to set aside enough of his past to move on and make as much a good life for his future kids and wife as he is able too.

You know as much as Clay was a complete bastard who enjoyed getting hit by others just to feel he mattered, Stopframe and Bloberta have equal blame. Bloberta for forcing them both in a loveless marriage and making Clay into an alcoholic, Stopframe in having an affair with both just to get closer to Clay. Glad Orel broke the cycle of violence.

God, it’s the way he says it that gets me every time. It’s not in a joking way, not with any malice or conviction, he says it with *confusion.* He’s *asking.* He’s genuinely confused that Orel thinks his parents have a good relationship.

The best episode was when Orel beat everybody's ass. It was kinda therapeutic.

I remember seeing my parents kiss when I was younger and it was the weirdest thing ever. It made me almost more uncomfortable than their fighting.

I miss Moral Orel. It seriously was one of the greatest animated shows I've ever seen, and I wish the creator got to make the fourth and fifth seasons that focused more on the citizens of Moralton. Season 3 is a masterpiece of animation.

The ending where we see him with a family that's actually happy is so satisfying, it shows that Orel succeeded where his dad failed, having a family that's actually built off of what a family is meant to be built from, love, acceptance and happiness, rather than the family built on lies and resentment that he grew up with, we even see that block and shapey grew up to be decent people and respected members of the community as a fireman and police officer respectfully...
