In honor of Father's Day, we wanted to put some dads to the test, so we went out on the street and asked them to answer basic questions about their kids.

Y'all my dad literally forgot my first name. Like straight up introduced me to his friends as a name I've never went by. Then he tried to tell me that that's what was on my birth certificate and I went to check, and he was wrong.

Once I heard my husband telling our friends that our younger son was 16, he was 14. When I corrected him, he turned around and said, “but I have been telling everyone he’s 16! Are you sure?!” By the way, we only have two kids.

As funny as it is and how I thought this was scripted, hit me right in my face when we had our baby recently. Husband processed the birth certificate while I was still in the hospital room and forgot the spelling after a month or so. He was proudly showing our baby to his brother during a videocall and can't recall the date when she was born effing 3months ago...

This isn’t funny or cute. Anytime a dad does his daughter’s hair, takes them to school, goes on a walk with them or some other mundane REQUIRED BARE MINIMUM TASK we’re ready to roll out the red carpet covered in roses. We have to stop applauding fish for swimming. This isn’t an anomaly at all.
