Switching my clothing to be sensory-friendly for me has been life changing! These things may not work for you, everyone's sensory issues are different!

If you think you have ADHD, I made a worksheet to help determine if you meet the diagnostic criteria and talk to your doctor about it!

This explains why I could never wear jeans.

Jeans are only comfortable if they are Baggy and after two days of wearing them they get soft till you wash them again...solution is not washing them more than once a month🤝🏻

Especially jeans with holes!!!! The sensory issue with holes in the knees is sooo bad for me. I can’t handle the feeling of cold air on my knees when the rest of my legs are covered.

Jeans for me, are a work of art, that’s because I get the comfortable ones

I hate polyester though😅
For me viscose is a work of art, its more natural and breathable and really comfy.

When I discovered yoga pants and leggings I never wore jeans again. That was before I knew I ahead adhd. It makes sense now.

I actually prefer bras and jeans, jeans are my comfy clothes most of the time, probably because I feel accomplished when I break them in. Bras are also comforting for a transition from sleep to "okay now it's day and stuff has to get done"

Rayon is so soft and comfy and very cool during warmer times, polyester makes me hot I'm not a fan of that material 🥺

I’ve always hated jeans, I only wear them when I need to and I mean like it’s a dress code like for work which what I do is I buy It with a belt mostly cuz I need the belt and I move the belt in a way where it’s not touching my skin and I bring an extra change of clothes if I’m not going home directly after cuz I only wear it to work and on my way home from work so if I’m not going home I need to bring an extra change of clothes that I like

I guess this is why I live in polyester tank tops and leggings

I actually prefer more confined jeans, I hate them with holes though, and I’ve just been confirmed diagnosed with ADHD (tbh I’m still skeptical-) but I guess it’s not the same for everyone anwyays

Jeans are very comfortable to me. I grew up using jeans as my pajama pants. But i can't wear shorts because wind or dust or basically anything that isn't fabric brushing up on my legs is a HELL NO

I wear baggy jeans so they don’t touch me it works for me 😊

I hate any trousers that stick tightly to my legs. I have a huge problem keeping my socks on, always. But you know, jeans are not confining. Just wear mom jeans like I do. Sweatpants are evil though. I always hated that they don't provide any security and anybody can see my underwear through the light material

This depends a ton from person to person; I don’t like wearing any type of synthetic fabric because it makes me sweat like hell, I don’t wear built-in bras because I have big boobs and regular bras make me feel more supported, and I really don’t wear pants but if I do I exclusively wear jeans or kakis because wearing anything resembling sportswear makes me feel unproductive and shitty (yes, even for sports, I’ve resorted to only wearing the popflex sports dresses because those are comfy and don’t make me feel shitty)

STORYTIME I have moderate to severe ADHD. I was on a three hour flight with a shapermint tanktop on and it rolled up. I couldn’t go to the bathroom because I was with my little son and he fell asleep and I didn’t want him waking up and not seeing me. It was his first flight ever. I was uncomfortable.

Oh and it was Spirit airlines.
