Houston neighborhood being tormented by long-time cat burglar

He's gained quite a reputation and his list of victims keeps growing.

A few years ago I befriended a stray cat, and one day I came home to find her waiting inside my house for me. Nobody let her in, she let herself in, coming in through the vents. I was amazed at her resourcefulness, and she's been my part-time roommate ever since. Idk where she originally came from, or what happened to her, but she has remained skiddish for the 5 years I've known her, wincing away any time I try to pet her, and generally just does her own thing. She's a good cat though, and I'm glad she was able to find me in her travels, rather than someone who might not have been so welcoming, or as cat friendly as I am.

My cat wasn't into fabric, it was trash and large leaves. Living in a rural area, she regularly brought us beer cans, chip bags, egg cartons and any large and unusual leaf she could find. We would often hear her alerting us that she was on her way down the driveway with her gifts for us. We always praised her for her kindness. I miss her dearly. Rest in peace Tiny Tot.

My kitty steals stuffed animals, and brings them and sets them on my pillow. He's indoor only, so he takes them from my kids.

My Mom and I had a cat who was obsessed with fabric. My Mom's a quilter and has rooms full of bins of fabric. We kept finding piles of fabric pieces, some of them pretty large, all over the house. We finally caught him doing it. He'd sit in the bin, carefully using his paws to browse through the fabric, picking out specific pieces and setting them aside. Then he'd carry each piece to a pile in another room. My Mom sewed him a quilt out of the pieces he picked. He was such a special, affectionate cat.

IT'S NOT MALICIOUS, IT'S HIS OFFERING TO THE HOME. HE CAN'T GO GROCERY SHOPPING TO CONTRIBUTE, SO HE BRINGS HOME WHAT HE THINKS WILL COMPLIMENT HIS MOM.
