Except you need the device in your hand to verify your account before they let you log in so it's basically 100% worthless

This really does work - I did not have to have the device in hand to verify my account. I went to my computer to the site and since I was already on google it just pulled the find my device info and started searching for it. I took a friends cell phone with me to the location and called her and asked her to play the sound button from my computer (which is an option if your phone is set to silent) and low and be hold I found it. Thank you for creating this youtube.

If you're out hiking in the mountains where there is no data and you realized you had dropped your phone somewhere. Then you're jacked. The best you can do is if you had a smart tag or tile then back tack and try to Bluetooth alert your phone.

I looked for it for 5 - 9 hours when I finally came across your video and I. Hi, i did this. But it only show, last seen 7 hour ago. And it not detect the location . Or the reason might be because i change to new phone? And use the same number? Just different sim card?

Thank you so much!! Found my phone using the Find My Device on map. The GPS location is not 100% but 60 feet away from the location indicated on Google. My phone drained of all battery by the time I went back in the morning to locate it.

It worked and i didnt have to verify the account. Logged in a computer, played the sound and found it in the woods. Pretty cool, thanks for posting this. I did have location and mobile data ON. Dont know if thats relevant.
