Another Elephant Hill Recovery

Had to go back in to Canyonlands, down Elephant Hill, and get a 94 Jeep Wrangler that broke the axleshafts and the ball joints on the passenger side. Went in not knowing exactly what was broke so we didn't take parts, was just easier to carry out and repair at the shop.

That was some great driving very technical maneuvering to be able to get out alone much less without swinging the jeep on the back into an obstacle. You have trail mater dialed in for that type of thing and it's so awesome to watch!

Mind-boggling level of skill and pure genius. Matt does the hard ones. Rory does the impossible ones.

Hey man. This video here was probably one of my most favorite videos you've done yet. I love your laid back (kind of "fuck you if you don't like it how I do things") attitude. Your videos are entertaining and informative. You come across as super easy going and approachable and most of all likable. Keep up the great work! Oh. And your "camera guy" did a nice job too. 2 thumbs up! He deserves lots of tacos and beer. :-)

I never cease to be amazed at the places you get to and then come out hauling a broken down vehicle!

Hey Rory, don’t listen to the negative garbage that comes through. Stay focused and keep doing what you are doing. I am totally envious of you wishing I could drive as you are. I know… you make it look easier than it looks. Thank you so much for sharing your time with us. I enjoy every moment of it.

I had a hard time navigating those with just my vehicle, let alone dragging something behind me. Mega skills recovering.

Far freaking out! Just Trail M8tr being Trail M8tr. Just Rory being Rory. As near perfect a match to the task as exists. Thats what makes it look like it's easy to do. There's a saying that goes something like "Perfect design is achieved not when nothing more can be added but when nothing more can be taken away." IMO you nailed it.

What can I say. I was in the Australian Army for 20 years in a transport unit driving constant 6 wheel drive trucks in some of the harshest terrain possible and alI I can say about you Rory, is, Im in absolute awe of what you and that beast can do. I salute you.

The torqueometer on the 454 went off the scale a few times on that one. Great job once again Rory. Great video Shawn. The only way we know how steep, is the tires squalling, they never lie.

This is by far the best recovery video you have made. Technique and skill without a whole lot of explanation. Keep up the great work!!!!

just epic what you do Rory. Short of a Chinook or parting the Jeep out there'd be NO WAY to recover these trucks...you built it right.
