I appreciate your support, I follow your advice to install  Linux with windows 7 creating a dual boot,   I  upgrade my win 7 to win 8.1 now,   I accidentally delete Ubuntu incorrectly. Now when I try to enter Ubuntu  I got this message " \ Ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr is missing, how can I reinstall this file or remove Ubuntu a separate hared drive.  please help me

What if Windows 8 and Ubuntu are sharing the HDD? I can not see my Ubuntu partition in Windows 8 but my HDD capacity is half of what it used to be.
