While waiting for the monthly Smarter Every Day video, I have been catching up on the No Dumb Questions podcasts. After enjoying about 20 episodes of you and Destin (and occasional guests) I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and take a look at your channel. I will definitely be checking out your other videos and you are now the happy recipient of a subscriber that is someone other than your mom. But seriously, the way you approach this whole subject (religion) is very commendable and approachable. Thank you for not making this an uncomfortable experience filled with judgement and regret.

I wouldn't totally dismiss the idea of knowledge being hidden in the text. Proverbs 25:2 says, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings." We also have Daniel 2:22 which says that God "reveals deep and hidden things." Chuck Missler, who was a Bible teacher that I have a lot of respect for, thought he had found some of these things and called them divine "authenticators" of the Biblical text, little things that God encoded to add some extra assurance that the text is in fact inspired. I think there may be something to that.

Regarding #4 - My ALL-TIME favorite kooky end-time prophecy theory is that Ronald Wilson Reagan was the beast of Revelation 13 because there are exactly six letters in each word of his name (Rev. 13:18).

One of the "Bible Codes" was actually more simple than the one you revealed in the first conspiracy. The entire text was spread out in one single line. Then, the text was divided into lines of equal string lengths. So, you would have lines each with 40 characters, for example. When you follow the text vertically, words and names begin to show up, but not necessarily sentences. You get a different set of words when you divide the lines into 50, or 30, or 300 characters each.



I'm still trying to figure out how Ronald McDonald was significant to world prophesy, since his name showed up in one of the arrangements.
