I have a weird issue, I can eat the first apple but then 2 apples appear which can not be eaten.... Could you help me find what I did wrong?

Hi. I'm having a huge bug on the game with this foodFunction. After sometime playing the foodFunction random.range creates a food over my snake which automatically gives me one more dot on Snake size. Problem is with the snake too long the game starts to create infinite foods over my snake and not over the empty area.
I'm trying to create a if for the foodFunction doesn't create food over the snake gameobject but i had no success.
Can you help me out?

A piece of food keeps spawning at 0, 0 how do i stop that
