For those who think this orientation is too imperative or bookish, I suggest you skip towards the end. That's where she talks about adult learning theories. I understand most of us are avid researchers, and want to explore the more scientific aspects of L&D. Unlike other professions, real-world experiences in L&D are often confined in rooms and the results in such companies and institutions are rarely credited in these invaluable human resource programs. Kudos to all the trainers, teachers, mentors and friends who make a difference in this world by simply communicating!
