We sell lotus by Tuber rather than by seed as seeds of hybrids are not ever going to be the parent plant, genetics are not stable so the seeds will vary depending on the genetic makeup of the variety. Tubers are vegetative reproductions and remain genetically true to name in color, size, and shape which is why they are sold this way. Tubers also grow and flower much quicker than seeds. Lotus tubers planted by our method will certainly bloom the first year and often in just 6 to 7 weeks depending on the variety.

Came for the lotus but stayed for Jennings 😍. My growth tips are definitely pointing up. Anyways here in some southeast Asian countries, Lotuses grow with minimal care in large fields in the middle of nowhere.
