What You Need To Know About Marvel's Loki

Disney+ is about to drop perhaps their biggest sure-fire hit since they decided to make the first Star Wars series with The Mandalorian. The Marvel series Loki looks to take the limitless watchability of Tom Hiddleston’s portrayal of the god of mischief and put it to the test. Can you do a series that focuses on Loki without Thor and the Avengers for him to play off of? Does Loki have enough of a comic book lore to make a multi-season series about? Well, I’m pretty sure the answers to all of these questions are going to be a resounding “yes”.

The series will pick up right where we left him in Endgame. Well, it may be more accurate to say that it will pick up with him right where we left him in The Avengers. Due to the time heist the Avengers pulled off to beat Thanos, Loki was able to escape his imprisonment and subsequent dark fate at the hands of Thanos. He is now free to have his own adventures...well he would be if he didn’t immediately get captured by a different faction, the Time Variance Authority.

The idea to make a Loki series about the famous villain traveling through time as a part of a bureaucratic time crime-fighting organization may seem like an odd idea, but it may be the perfect one.

So let’s dive right into everything that makes Loki the most exciting Disney+ series to date!

Now I SO want a "Doctor Who Nod". Perhaps a cameo by one of "the Doctors", or their "companions", or their villains, or a blue police box. (Like we caught a glimpse of in "The Librarians.) Image Loki at a point in time, and he crosses paths with Matt Smith, Jodi Whittaker, or even Jo Martin in costume. No exchange, just a brief glimpse, maybe on a TVA Wanted poster.
