Here's my review to your review: Man! You should do phone reviews more often and I mean not just Xiaomi or other Chinese brand but also the mainstream brands too.

The review was to the point, no bullshit. The best part was you weren't try to please the manufacturer or maintaining P.R. What's good was appreciated and what's bad was called out.

I've been keeping my eye on this device since it was announced. Now I'm kinda bothered at the microphone quality since I regularly call. I really wish this can be fixed by a software update and not a hardware issue.

Just a correction, the 64GB and 128GB models DO have band 20 but left out some of the other global bands.

Ok...honestly i dont know what people expect from phones these youll watch yt on your phone on its speakerphone, not listen to music seriously. I mena...what do you expect from a miniscule speaker crammed in a slim space? I was actually surprised it was using speakerphone as a second speaker. Honestly cant wait to get this phone cause its awesome!

Apparently Mi mix 2 had the same microphone problem and it's never been fixed despite people reporting it on Xiaomi forums. Real shame. It seems to be an issue with over use of noice canceling processing. People report that unprocessed audio recording are very good.

does the gps accuracy improve even better when you go outside? are you testing it indoor? only asking because one of the previous xiaomi devices you reviewd had like 14 meter accuracy, but when i test it myself its 3 meters outside, 14 meters indoors

Xiaomi is good about getting updates out there but I wouldn't buy a phone until call quality is fixed because that's it's main purpose. Might be nice to show the EIS in 1080P mode so people can see the difference between when it's working and when it's not? Good review.

Just wanted to ask a kick question. I noticed you measure the brightness of the Mi Mix 2 to 570 Lux and the Mi Mix 2S to about 500Lux. Is there a noticeable difference between the two for example in sunlight visibility?

I've been looking at reviews a lot and apparently Mi Mix 2 (no S) has the same problem with the mic.
Some users in XDA and Reddit have pointed out that the mic problem is software. They apparently try and tweak the audio with noise cancelling and compression which make the recording have a horrible sound :(

Did you ever come across the Oukitel K6 or Meizu Pro 7 ? Was thinking about buying K6 due to the big battery, but I believe the camera is not good! Any recommendations for a budget of up to 300£?
