Best review out thus far. On the front facing camera, my wife has a Xiaomi Mix 2, and it's a bit of nuisance, but given the high quality and overall value of the phone, it won't dissuade me from buying it. And it avoids the notch on top, so the trade off is worth it to me, as I dislike the notches. Dual SIMs with global LTE capability is also great. Seriously considering picking one up in China, as I I'll be there next month. Two other considerations for many - lack of Google apps (a pain to install), and lack of availability in the US (only through importers, but at least some add the Google apps and load the global ROM).

Asbyt, another "whopping" 😂 review. I like Xiaomi. I just bought a Mi A1 after watching a review you did of it a while ago, and am very happy with it. I knew the mix 2s was on the way but I had a budget and the Mi A1 fitted it. You always do great informative vids and you're my go-to channel when I want info of this kind. Really appreciate your reviews. IF, all of these features come to pass, and I'm looking forward to your hands-on review to assess them, then this looks like my next phone. I don't mind the front facing camera position as I'm not a selfie sort of guy, might actually break the camera :)

The pros - Specs not bad...the price is impressive for both models...the Cons - the front camera at the bottom is disappointing, I would prefer it at the top, but that’s my opinion and lastly, I concur with you when they are comparing this new phone to Apple’s iPhones...I’m guessing that’s their main competitor they want to target, so it’s their marketing strategy, we’ll just have to wait and see if it was effective.

After watching your video regarding Tea TV & your announcement about Gear Best’s great sales they have on right now I was checking out all the Xiaomi items & I didn’t know that they make so much more than smart phones! They have some really great tech items! This phone looks great. Sounds like Xiaomi is really growing & doing a lot to improve their smartphones to keep competitive. Really nice specs on this phone! A lot of these companies are giving Samsung & Apple major competition which is great for us consumers. The Huawei P20 looks like a great phone, also, with some specs that are close to or as good as the S9 & Apple X. Great video! 👍🏻

Hi. You have a mistake. At 10:26 you verbally say that the top feature phone has 8gb ram and 256 GB storage but on the screen it actually showing 6gb ram and 64gb storage. You show same price for both models

i wish the rear camera was in the middle over the fingerprint scanner, that the selfie camera was i top bezel, a smaller bottom bezel and a headphone jack, except from that it's pretty much perfect, i personally own the original mi mix.

The one thing the bottom front cam has is that you don't have to stick your phone out and up for a selfie. You can just go out . I think that's what they were going for maybe

This looks to be the best phone in the world right now! I don't mind the selfie camera placement, but since I'm no narcissist I don't take many selfies, props to Xiaomi! They're gonna take over the smartphone world. (Just my opinion) oh I didn't even mention the specs or price, they're going to crush their competition!
