How To Fix FPS Stuck On 30fps on Laptop - Nvidia Only

Have you been playing games on your laptop whilst using the battery to find that you can never get any higher than 30fps? If you have an Nvidia graphics card in your laptop then there may be a simple way to sort this out. You can still limit your frame rate from 30fps up to 60fps or you can completely turn off the battery boost option and enjoy your games in their full glory!

Please bear in mind that some of the more powerful GPUs in laptops do require you to have your charger plugged in as the battery struggles to cope when you play more demanding games.

If you don't have the battery boost option then chances are your graphics card isn't supported

Also try disabling V-Sync in your game if you are still getting low frame rates.
