OP updated the condom hole poking story and unsurprisingly it was not in fact a joke! Her husband wanted kids and was hiding it, and said that he himself had been planning to tamper with their birth control and was looking forward to any potential 'accidents'. She got out of their thankfully but this is just proof that she was right to trust her intuition, she was very lucky to get out of this relatively unscathed so far, hopefully the divorce went smoothly.

Not gonna lie, with the gestation diabetes one: she literally only has that condition because she is growing their child. I 100% would expect my partner to adjust his eating to as similar level to me as he could if I have needing to change my eating… because our child is affecting my health and this is needed for us both to be safe? Like I dunno, people say things like “we’re pregnant” but then don’t wanna do something super simple that they can do

There's an update to the MIL story about poking hole in condom and it's disturbing af. Turned out the husband stuck around waiting for the wife to change her mind and started to consider tampering with their condoms to baby-trap her. She's leaving him asap thankfully!!

The homeless man story is bananas. My husband and I made friends with a homeless guy one time, and he kept showing up to our house randomly wanting to be fed and hang out which we would do from time to time because we were trying to be nice, but when we eventually told him he couldn’t come over because we had plans, he showed up on our front porch in the middle of the night threatening to unalive us. Quite literally if you just meet someone on the street you have no idea who that person is or what kind of personal issues they might have that have impacted their situation.

As a married person who doesn’t want kids. That literal threat (of secretly poking holes in my condoms) is the worst thing that anyone could “joke” about to me. Its literally a different way of saying “your body my choice” which isn’t a joke even if you giggle after. Maybe ESPECIALLY if you giggle after.

The man who let a homeless man into his girlfriend home really chose to compromise her safety and then called her prejudice is really scary. I wouldn’t even be mad I would be scared that he would compromise my safety again for an ego boost.
