I completely agree. Teachers are essentially part time parents and help kids gain knowledge to become successful as adults while getting very little reward for their work

If i should ever win the lottery i will donate to my local schools. Yess 100k for sure. I always tell my kid to be nice to all the teachers... some of yall parents just dont even care how their kid treats a teacher... they out here doing and raising your children. Thank you teachers!!!! ❤

As a science teacher, I worked more than 60 hrs. a week. Creating assignments, grading assignments, making phone calls, and meeting with parents, is endless. I ended up using a lot of my own money on students and supplies. I left the job because of student behavior. The best feeling I ever had, was the day I walked out. I didn't even quit the job professionally. I just left, with no regrets.

$34k for part-time work is not bad. Before all the martyrs attack me listen up. 3 months off every year, no weekends and every holiday off. Ladies and gentlemen that is part-time work.

They belong to their parent's and family. As long as they remember that as when they leave school, chances are they'll never see them again but the parents and family will till death do they part.

Teachers spend time preparing each class that they don't even get paid for. Only the old-timers who teach the same thing year after year get around this.

All we have to do is pay an additional $100 or so a week in property taxes (or rent) and the teachers can get paid 100k per year

Teachers here in Wisconsin make, on average, 75k on the low end and 120k on the top level. Plus they get summers off plus paid vacation and sick leave. Don't get me wrong, they have it tough.

Many, many solid jobs are 30K - 40K per year. 100K is executive pay or OF.
