Willingness takes practice and reflection in order to understand it. Thoughts, Feelings, Sensations, associated with anxiety can be triggered when taking committed action. Fighting or ignoring can distract from the action being taken. This particular intervention incorporates exposure and defusion. Willingness is the committed action being taken while experiencing uncomfortable thoughts feelings and sensations. It's helpful to choose a valued action that is compelling enough to overcome internal resistance.
