Game of Thrones S4: Epic Tyrion Speech During Trial

The way Tyrion says "I should have let Stannis kill you all" gives me shivers. You can tell he really means it.

That final stare off between Tyrion and Tywin is one of the most epic moments in the entire show

Tyrion calls Tywin father but he calls him “the prisoner”. Says it all.

I love Tywin's realization that Tyrion is smarter than both of his other children combined. That stare of fury tempered by a respect that even he is surprised to have found for his son...

"I did NOT kill Joffrey, but I WISH that I had...I WISH I was the monster you think I am"; some of the best lines in the scene. Dinklages acting is superb; all the emotions he twists his face into in a few short minutes; his voice starting choked back ("I did not do it") and quiet (and even then he does a brilliant job of conveying everything Tyrion is feeling), and then raising to absolute fury, pain, defiance, and frustration

The way he says “I did not do it.” Is so layered. It’s clear he’s holding back emotion. He’s furious, heartbroken, on the verge of tears and madness from the situation. Incredible acting.

That little smirk he gives his father during the stare down was everything 😂 like “ You want me dead that badly then you’re going to WORK for it old man “ !

I wonder if Jaime ever thinks this when someone calls him dishonorable or the kingslayer

Tywin was so pissed . He had gotten everything he wanted. Jaime accepting casterly rock and his position of lord. Tyrion gets sent to the wall. A perfect scenario for him. Tyrion unknowingly shat on it all and that’s why the stare down was so epic.

I love how oberyn immediately realizes this will be his one and only chance to kill the mountain legally knwoing cersei and the lannisters have been using him as their wardog to escape crimes for years.

Imagine Tywin's face when he realise that Tyrion is the last Lannister alive

This for me will always be the ultimate peak of the show. Everything about this scene was perfect. Obviously Tyrion takes all the shine, followed by Tywin.

But even the characters who don’t say a word kill their roles. Jamie and Cersei’s facial expressions and body language conveys so much.

And then the most underrated part of this entire scene is Oberyn at the end. He’s like “oh this show is so good!” 😂

You can see Oberyn in the back just chillin and watching this play out like he’s watching a movie, then when he discovers the opportunity after Tyrion demands a trial by combat, he immediately becomes interested.

Nobody realizes Jamie's reaction it seems. He was destroyed and uncertain and dude acted it so perfectly. He wasn't sure if his brother was really confessing to murdering his son or not. So powerful and he gets no credit.
