Whether she was right or wrong I liked how calm Meredith was here. Most attending wouldn’t have heard it and walked away or kicked them out or took em off the service but Meredith very calmly and gently said “your overreacting” but not in a way like most attendinge that would yell at her

Ima be honest, Jo was overreacting. She hated Meredith at work and outside of work, she couldn’t stand that Alex was closer to Meredith than her. Those two have been friends for over 10 years, you can’t expect him to immediately put you before her. Not to mention Meredith is her boss. She doesn’t have to like you just like you don’t have to like her but no matter what she was a better surgeon and she was teaching Jo how to be a better doctor and she didn’t wanna listen because she was too busy thinking Meredith was out to get her

Imma be devil's advocate, in a way Mer actually liked Jo she was just uneasy because she knew how all of Alex exes were. She actually saw potential in Jo as a surgeon and someone for Alex, she pushed her and to be honest I felt like she was somewhat glad that Jo stood up to her, that Jo wasn't soft and actually had a backbone. Now Mer can really be mean but in a way I get what she was doing. Especially once Stephanie and Penny left, Jo was the one she tried to mold

She was unnecessarily rude to jo all the time. idgaf what Meredith has been through, it doesn’t give her the right to treat people like shot, especially at work. She was always a completely ass to jo no matter what she did. I was so happy when Alex confronted her about it.
