"Skræl" is a different word entirely from "skrald." "Skræl" *literally* means "peel".

A skrald is a loud noise, a bang. Garbage collectors used to carry a "skralde", a noise making device, to inform people that now was the time to bring out their garbage. They were, and are, called skraldemænd, and this was reinterpreted to mean men removing skrald. That is how skrald came to mean garbage. The similarity to skræl, meaning peel, is a conincidence.
Will somebody please explain why "tordenskrald" is "peal of thunder" in English?

Swedish is rather universally used, but lets just say there are accent/ vocabulary specialities.
Fennoswedes- anyone can do it
Stockholm - vanishing letters, ("sju" becomes "hu"), but its sophisticated.
Norwegian- umm, ok, we are kinda on the same page.
Skåne- ermm, what?
Danish- 60.C potato
Icelandic- did you know, that is possible talk both while inhaling and exhaling? Also, avoid loan words like plaque!
