High cost of fuel, food, etc. My girlfriend and I used to go out to dinner about once a But no longer. So a restaurant owner has to increase his / her prices, which in turn makes the restaurant lose customers, which in turn forces the owner to let go of employees. The "trickle down" effect of inflation has now become a raging waterfall.

I don't drive that often so even though I knew gas prices were up it didn't really hit me until this afternoon when I had to fill up my car for the first time in two months. Couldn't believe a gallon was $5.28 here in Chicago. I feel bad for people who have to drive all the time.

I can't tell, my orders from China/Amazon are still coming as slow as they ever have. prime only counts in the U$. But you use less gas letting them bring stuff to you for free than you driving to go pick from a limited selection in a local store with supply line issues. I don't feel the effects of any "inflation".
Just a M$M hype excuse to raise prices on you.
