The whole world is in the same place, we are no different. Actually the United States is actually better off then most.
This is not the first time after a pandemic (air pollution) which wasn't that long ago, gas shortage, food and house hold supplies double in price, business closed, lay offs, work hour cut, high unemployment rate. Child Tax credit cut, mileage to work credit cut, bank stop approving loans or canceled approved loans. And guess what the minimum wage was depending on your state and the place of business 1.40 to 1.80 than the wage went up, went for it... 2.40 an hour. No one left a job by choice ( like it or not) with out another. Lower Speed limit was Federal mandated, no longer warm or cars up, turn right on red where posted. You were encouraged to walk short distances, ride a bicycle, take public transportation, car pool. Certified programs for job training, tax cut to corporations to attractive business.
Some people have now caused their own troubles by not getting vaccinated, quiting jobs with out a another job.
