Never realised how rare the virage was. Parked next to a coupe at an Aston Martin owners meet in 2017. Got a bunch of pics with it next to our old DB7. One of 34 in the UK is crazy.

The 997 turbo would be one of my dream porsches. Hope to own a porsche cayman when I have savings for one 😁. Funnily enough too I recently was looking at the newer 8 series and was surprised you can get these for mid 30k. Saw a nice 840d with a satin black finish for 33k

The 997 is my favourite gen of 911, but it wouldn't be my pick for a grand tour. It's actually not an easy choice between the LC, Merc and BMW for me. The LC just edges it, for a tour around the Baltic. Only country with a Baltic coastline I've even visited is Germany, but that was Berlin. Off to Riga next week, no car though and only 1 spare day, rest is business.

It’s mad how BMW doesn’t have a flash mid engined supercar as it’s quickest car, but kinda love it. 8 series is so gorgeous yet understated

Having owned a number of different badges, I would go with the Lexus, as repair costs are outrageous for all the others.

In my opinion, the BMW i8 deserves a spot on this list of great GT cars. It's fast, efficient, and affordable.

However, personally, I would prefer the Volvo S90 T8 due to its similar performance and economy, as well as its added space, substance, and style.

If I want to make a statement, however, I might consider the Porsche Panamera or the Jaguar F-Pace, even though they are not traditional GTs. These luxury cars offer both comfort and power for high-speed, long-distance driving all for similar prices as mentioned in the video.
