How to replace a bathtub faucet handle - single handle in this video

I remove a bathtub faucet handle , soak it in CLR to remove minerals that have collected on it, then install the handle

My problem is the head of the screw where the Phillips screwdriver fits are stripped. Any suggestions on how to remove the stripped screw? The head of the screw is worn and my Phillips screwdriver just don't remove, turn it now?

CLR works great, no question, but so does vinegar (use the pickling kind, not the condiment type). takes much longer than seven minutes, tho, lol
