I wanted to check out my friends new Gladiator with 37 inch tires before he put a lift on it. Also it is so beautiful here that the top had to come off the new Jeep Wrangler JL and check out how easy it is!

Tip for soft top windows. Clean the plastic windows, dry, then use armor all on inside and out. Buff with micro fiber towel. They won’t yellow and works like rain-x.

I was so happy to see that the soft top on the JL can be unclipped quickly from the roll bar. I’ll soon be updating my JK and I always thought the soft top on the JL looked terrible when down. But now I see it can be put into a JK position.

Those hard tops get hot real quick, you gotta put a liner, and if it comes with an insulation barrier built-in even better since the entire hardshell becomes a heating issue

I had a soft top on my 09 with i owned for 11 years, my new Rubicon is a hard top and I must say I will never go back to a soft top again. So much quieter and will last longer. IMO

Honestly, and see for yourself. On 37s he needs 4.5 inch lunch lift. I highly recommend the evo stage 4+ overland enforcer. With kings..its what I have on my gladiator!!!! I have been totally impressed with it...so many others seem to be having short term problems...by my observations. The flex is perfect without any rubbing or modification. Every thing I looked into needed something

I cracked my windscreen less then an hour after picking up my Gladiator from the dealer. Ill be waiting months for one to arrive to Tasmania Australia.

Jus take out the inner fender. And you then have a high fender on the rubicons.

When I first got my JTR, I went with a 2.5" spacer lift (I was on a tight budget then) with 37x13.50's just to get it up in the air. And I can get about 3' of articulation stuffing the 37x13.50's with the sway bar disconnected. I will soon be swapping out the 2.5" spacer lift for an Evo Enforcer 2.5" Stage 2 Plus lift, that's sitting in my garage waiting for install. I should easily be able to get more than 3' of flex. Unless you plan on running larger than 37's in the future, no real need to go beyond a 2.5" to 3" lift.

The soft top on the Gladiator is pretty cool however """ Up here, I live in North Dakota, where we have some pretty nasty storms in the winter, ie, -100 deg wind chill, 20 to 45 mile an hour winds, and very heavy snows, and that's on normal winter days. I have a 2022 Gladiator, Rubicon with the normal removal hard top and I feel much more secure with the extra protection of the hard top !! I've been out driving in some pretty nasty weather, I was used to driving my Ford, Expeditions in the winter and they were like tanks compared to the Jeep. Right now I have only 2, 700 miles on the jeep and I am anxious to see what this winter will bring.

With the Rubicon version of the JT, I went with Claytons 2.5 overland lift. 3 inch in the front and 2 in the back. Very well made kit and very happy with it and their customer service is second to none. They have been making great lifts for the Jeeps for a long time and have been around. I actually haven't measured how much lift it gave me. I do have an aftermarket front stubby bumper and 10, 000 pound winch on the front. Nothing heavy other then that. I will have to go out and measure it later today. Been about a month since install so it has had time to settle. I am running Fox shocks on mine. Not the stock but a longer version. I really like the ride of this thing compared to some of my older Jeeps. And the power is great. I got a Tazer JL Mini to change tire size programming and the speedometer is spot on. Anyways, I think a good 3 inch or so lift is perfect for the JT. I prefer to keep lift as low as possible to work good. Keeps police from hassling you as well to a point. Huge lift and tires sticking way out is a cop magnet in many areas. I went with +18 offset 17/8.5 wheels with mine. They stick out a bit. But not too much. Everyone who looks at it, even a police office at the coffee shop last week says it just "looks" right.

On my gladiator I added a 2” lift with 35” tires and it looks great. I think a 3.5 lift with the 37” tires would look great. I use my front camera all the time, what a nice feature.

I am still running the stock tires but I have a 3.5 inch lift.

Picked up a 2022 Mojave, definitely couldn't be happier. Test drove both the Rubi and Mojave, pulled the trigger on the Mojave, better ride IMO. But to ea is own. Great rigs either way

Ouch 17.5/100km! Thats why I ordered a diesel too. My gasser on light 35”s speed corrected us 12-14l/100km depending on driving. 15-18 towing my 1700lb overland trailer

I have Milestar Patagonia 35 inch MTs, with the standard Gladiator Rubicon lift right now, with Diesel HD bronze 17 inch x 8.5 rims. Looking at these lifts: Rubicon Express has a 4.5 -5.5 inch lift coil springs, control arms, brake hose extensions, driveshaft, then add Bilstein 5160 reservoir shocks, or get the 4.5 or 6 inch EVO stage 4 plus lifts with the Bilstein reservoir shock or go with King reservoir shocks, through 4x4Parts.ca or with Northridge4x4.ca. Also if price is no object, a cool lift is the EVO coilover 6.5 inch Fusion Plus or their 4.5 inch EVO coilover fusion plus suspension lift through Northridge4x4.ca. Fabtech has a 5 inch crawler long arm kit with reservoir shocks. But I got to replace my windshield, add protective film to that windshield, and get the 4 Aux switches and a Genesis Offroad dual battery kit first. It's only money right!

Rubicon already has a lift Fox Racing 2.0" depends on what your friend likes really, From my personal opinion 4" is a really sweet upgrade with the 37" :)

For those tires I’d go with a 3.5” lift if not a 4” lift. If it had 35’s I think a 2.5” lift would work great
