After over 40,000 miles and trekking across almost every terrain, it’s time to decide if I should buy another set of the BFG All Terrains or switch to something else. In this video I share with you my opinion about these tires on and off-road performance, how well they have held up and just a little general tire knowledge.

Here are a couple other videos you may enjoy:

Forget about those new tires, at my age I can neither afford them nor lift them if I had to change a tire (smiles). That being said, I am constantly amazed at the professional videos that you put out. The clarity of this video is so sharp that I feel that I am there in the garage with you. And the delivery of the information is nothing short of amazing! There was not one "umh" or "uh" or other pause in the entire video. The entire production is so well done that you could easily be a spokesperson for one or more of the manufacturers. Even when you post a video of a project that I can only dream of, I still watch it, knowing that I will both learn something and be the recipient of a well edited video. From: an old guy who is a late entry into the world of JEEPing. Stock 2016 JK 2-door Willys Wheeler. Thank you for sharing your Jeep Journey.

I have 35 inch K02s load range Es on my Cummins and love them. I gave about 30k miles on them and in slick mud, sand, ice, snow, packed snow, slushly snow, rain, and rock. I would definitely buy again. One of the best compromises between offroad, winter and onroad performance.

I have 35" KO2's on my 2016 JKU and I love them. I am amazed at the life you get out of them being an all terrain tire.

Great video. I ran BGF KO2 tires on my Jeeps for a long time. Great tire. I did recently switch from 37 KO2 to 37 KM3 for our JLUR. I love it. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want the noise. They are actually really quiet for being a mud terrain tire. My buddy has the 37 STT Pro on his JLUR, and he really likes those. Wish I saw you at Cleghorn, I have a few videos there on my page. It has always been a go to spot for me. Close to home, and some good trails. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos.

I got lucky and ended up with 9/32 after 40k with my MT MTZs. Nice video and information. Keep them coming. NAVY!

I run 33” Cooper ST Pros. Have 47, 000 miles on them and they have performed flawlessly. I do a 5 tire rotation every 5, 000 miles so I should be able to get another 10, 000 miles on them. Plan to go with a Cooper ST Pro 35” when they are replaced. GREAT tire.

The KO2 was a big improvement over the KO from what I have seen in my state of Arizona. The KO would chip pretty severely over time on the sharp rocks you encounter in rocky desert terrain, the KO2 is able to outlast the KO almost 2 to 1 here. Michelin really brought BFG into the modern Era. The French have tire tech on lock down...

Appreciate the words Brad.

I've run BFG tires only, AT's, mud TA's, KM2s, and the 37" Kevlar which I am currently running on the JK. Honestly, the mud TA's were the best performing, longest lasting tires. Granted they weren't the quietest, but they were great! The KM2s are my second choice. The KM3 is what I will be going to once these kevlars go. The Kevlars are fine on rocks, water, sand, snow but they are noisy as hell and rather heavy.

Hey Brad!! We love your videos!! So much attention to detail. As we prepare our TJ for our Alaska trip for our 25th Anniversary we have learned alot from you. Currently we are on 33 12.5 15 ko2s We like them so much that we have decided they will be our tire for our adventure. A full 60 days exploring that beautiful state. Thanks for the great videos and always helpful honest pros and cons for everything you take time to talk about.

I ran those tires on one of my JK’s and besides being a little soft on rocks, they weren’t too bad. They seem to run a little small and narrow for the stated size, but that’s an all-terrain for you!

I had 33” ko2’s on my jku, went with a larger lift and stepped up to 35’s and went with Patagonia mt’s. Truthfully I hear no noticeable sound difference between the ko2’s and the patagonia. They’re amazing so far. Had them in snow for a few months here in Ny and they performed great! I’d highly recommend and was hoping to see you go for these this time around! I don’t blame you on the coopers, that was my next choice!

Best tire for the way I use my Jeep. I have had BFG KM2, Goodyear MTRs and the BFG KO2s. The KO2 tire is my favorite by far.

I was sooo sure you were going to change to the milestar Patagonias. They’re quiet and grippy. Specially since your great friend Marco is running them

When I first built my JK it was a daily. I ran the 37” KO2s for about 2 years and I loved them. For a daily rig they are fantastic.

Thanks for the review Brad. I like your point about wanting "just a little more bite." I'm stepping up to 35's so I'm looking at BFG 37's.

Glad to hear you had no issues with the BFG's. I had no issues for years, until the last 3 sets. Then, nothing but sidewall cracking issues. They were the KO1's, and BFG knew about the issues and did nothing knowing they had the KO2's coming up soon. For that, they lost a customer. I'm a fan of those Coopers and Nitto's. Looking forward to hearing how the Coopers compare on the rocks to the KO2's.
