A good friend of Collin’s from Ohio picked up a brand-new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and brought it out to 3D Off-Road for some upgrades. DJ turned to Built2Wander to help devise a plan to add some serious off-road capability to his Jeep Truck without compromising on-road performance since this Gladiator will be his daily driver. We convinced DJ to head out to Moab, Utah for the annual Easter Jeep Safari with us after building his truck so that we could show him the ropes of rock-crawling and get him comfortable with the limits of his new Jeep Gladiator on 37” Nitto Trail Grapplers.

In this episode, we highlight all of the components that went into DJ’s Jeep Gladiator Rubicon build, including a 3.5” RockJock 4x4 Suspension System, Bilstein 8100 series Bypass Shocks, 17” KMC Beadlock Wheels, and 37” Nitto Tire Trail Grapplers. The goal was allow DJ to conquer some of the more technical off-road trails in Moab, UT and comfortably drive across the country back to Ohio with zero concern for failures. Our trip to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari turned out to be exactly what DJ needed to learn the ropes off-road and the limits of his new Jeep JT build on 37s!

Hands-down, one of the best builds ever. You’ve inspired me to add NITTO 37”s on my jeep and the Apex valves. I went with the EVO lift kit since my jeep will be mainly used off-road. Thank you so much for this amazing video!

My 23 Gladiator has a 3.5" Clayton lift and 37" tires, couldn't be happier. I went with the 3.5", seems most people go with the Mopar 2". Read too many bad reviews from people buying cheaper lifts. The Clayton is on the more expensive side but a few thousand miles on it and no complaints.

I bought a 22 Gladiator Rubicon a few months ago, this is about what I am aiming for down the road. I will check into the Rock Jock suspension.

Great looking rig. What does that cost approximately? Wheels and suspension. I’m looking at getting a gladiator.
Did you change out the gears?

I'm doing 37's on my gladiator rubicon but do you need to change the gears?...nice build I'm doing 3.5 rc with black rhino Abrams.

Not a fan of 3.5 back space to far Away which scrub radius is terrible but also wears a 44 axle ends, but I know it was done for ease of a quick build with fenders in mind plus a lot of other. It I would not recommend long term use unless babied

Love it. Too bad there's no place around NJ to enjoy 4 wheeling anymore 😕

Great build. Quick question: which brand of pre-runner lights did you use for the grill?

What a beautiful truck. And it's an ecoDiesel Rubicon. What more can you ask for. It probably cost you a lot.

I love it. But are you able to mount the spare underneath? I've heard some people say a 37 will fit there but need proof. There's no way I could lose my bed. That was the whole reason I got the gladiator

@Built2Wander,
So you didn't upgrade any of the axle components & it did ok on the trails? I'm asking because I want to some of the same things with my gladiator but don't have thousands to spend on upgrades, Thanks.

I love watching videos like these. It really helps when visualizing your own dream jeep. I just wish more folks would include costs. How much $$ is all in on that final build?

Not finding those wheels with the all black treatment, did those have to be powder-coated: the bead lock rim thing, the ones i am seeing have it as silver...i prefer the look here though
