How to choose your first gaming handheld device

There are so many options when it comes to retro and pc gaming handheld devices! Some of them are cheap and some will cost you way more than they are worth. It helps to know which one to buy when you are first starting out... also ANTZ for PS1 was not my favorite game as a kid.
