It’s really upsetting to see a seizure from the outside, but this is a great video and resource. Thank you

So I’m researching this stuff and it’s refreshing to see real life stuff, because the information online can actually be misleading. Someone even commented that they thought seizures had to be this crazy thing and that’s why. This has been happening to me for way longer than I even know. I used to take carbamazepine as a mood stabilizer after sustains a traumatic brain injury and years later was told it doesn’t work that way and it’s typically prescribed to prevent seizures. So I stopped taking carbamazepine and started taking a slew of different SSRI’s and mood stabilizing drugs. I have a history of substance use as well, so, within the 2 months I have abstained from substances (other than cannabis), I have noticed 4 times of the temporary paralysis feeling and I can only imagine how much it’s happened trough the years without my knowing due to substance use. It’s insane.
Stay safe! Stay sober everyone!

October made 2 years that I had been seizure free.
Then on November 5 I had a Tonic Clonic seizure.
I hit pavement and have some injuries on my face. My right eye looks like I was punched. My right temple has a cut. Both of my knees are bruised pretty badly. Good thing.I fell first on my knees and then hit the pavement. No one witnessed this.
I am afraid as where I live there is no carpet.I rent a room with private bath.
No carpet in my room.
A couple of cuts on my hands.
