This was the craziest winter month yet at Cerro Gordo! There was so much snow, and so many things we got done from rebuilding cabins, refining silver, exploring the abandoned mines, and even living down there for a while.

I cannot help but see the humor in returning from the doctor's office after cutting your fingers on your drone, only to fly your drone to document your struggle of trying to get home from seeing the doctor.

You should have put the tire chains on your front tires they do way better that way. Because your motors weight is on the front and you can steer the front wheels

That ending speech was phenomenal! It’s nice to see a genuine person taking the risk and finding something they love

What's missing in a lot of people's lives is passion. They don't have something that inspires them each day. Whether it's a hobby, career or other. You clearly have found yours and I'm thankful you share it with us all.
Cheers-

I watched your videos when I was in a very low place in my life. I was the most lost and depressed I had ever been. Man those were crazy times.
You helped me through that man. You inspired me, gave me a different perspective on life.
I sold everything I owned, moved to Montana, have a beautiful wife and a gorgeous baby girl, a new and lucrative career and will be closing on a house soon.
Thank you for these videos.
Hope to make it back to California and hopefully stay in that hotel when she’s ready!

Brent, I have a suggestion for you. While you are in your underground apartment, I would suggest that you have a video cable running to the surface so you could keep an eye on things. A few cameras in various locations would keep you very well informed about what is going on on the surface.

Brets videos feel like they have more production value than most movies being released with a 7 figure budget. movies can only act out the mountain your moving, this channel is an old souls gold mine.

Hello Brent, I have lived off grid for many years here I. Australia and all I can say is 22000 poly tanks are a god send, especially when water is scarce. Put them everywhere, U can bury them even and 12- 24Volt water pumps are not expensive take advantage of the melting snow. You will not regret doing it .
Love watching your town coming together.

I've been following your channel from the start when you tried to reach Cerro Gordo is that old 2WD pickup during a snowstorm.
I have to say your channel is the most inspirational and positive one out there despite all the challenges you have, and will, face. Nice to see too Owens lake full of water again. 👍

Brent, your growth thru adversity has been amazing to witness. Watching your body language and listening to your voice during this video is light years better than after some of the past weather events you have been thru. My family and I met you a year and a half ago when the mineral society came up to spend the day and you gave us a tour of town. We talked a little about how rugged and unforgiving the desert and eastern California mountains can be, but also how it just seems to reach out and grab onto your spirit with the beauty and love of this rugged land. You are becoming a different person right before our eyes in ways that you yourself probably never in your wildest dreams ever imagined. Please keep up the good work, stay strong in your goals, and be safe. Looking forward to coming up to help celebrate re-opening the new hotel my friend!

Greetings Brent, I cant began to tell you how much your videos are appreciated and enjoyed by myself. Im the Old guy living on the smallest reservation in South Dakota. While I'm not as isolated as yourself I do live @6 miles outside the nearest town of 2K people and have always lived on this piece of ground along the Big Sioux River. Thank you for the new video and keep them coming please. I pray for your continued success there youngman, what you seek in your heart is the true road for your spirit, follow it strong, follow it in a respectful way and only good can be company on this journey. I suggest investing in a AWD tractor with a plow. You can get an older model with a pretty decent price. It will come handy in other projects too.

My dad lived for many years on the only private land for thousands of acres overlooking Ridgecrest, CA. I loved it and learned some of the local history and lore in my time out there. Continuing to see water in Owens Lake is so wild and wonderful. Super proud of all you're doing, Brent. Keep it up and we'll keep supporting you.
