I'm confused as to why he suggested DIV. After doing my due diligence I don't see a reason to buy and hold. Can someone please explain. Maybe I'm not understanding.

You'd have to buy 10000 shares to get $800 in dividens. That's averaged to $16.50 per share, roughly $165, 000. IDK, maybe as a way to park your liquidity.
