You and blakey giggling like school kids about space buckets is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen all day

If you're going to grow lavender in a space bucket, remember how much they stretch when they're going into flower and read up on training techniques! Lavender loves being topped young and trained to fill a space 😅

Always nice to see another way of you manifesting your green thumb. You can tell that you live for this stuff 👍🏼 It almost feels as if there isn’t a spot, a nook, a cranny or a corner of your house and land which doesn’t have something to do with gardening in or around it.

I’m going to set up a small RDWC setup (4+1 buckets) myself. Moving up from coco/perlite mix. It would be great to see a vid on how beginners would go about doing that and the main things to know and look out for when setting one up in a small space. I reckon there would be plenty of people who’d appreciate it. Especially with increasingly more people trying their hand at new hobbies these days. What with everybody’s favourite virus and all.

Have you done an update for this system yet? How is it performing

using a metal bin would reduce the chance of a fire...plastic burns really well...metal will also act a heat sink as well..

I cant see thay wicking up enough water to the plant. Great job I think im gonna make one with a funnel. And a hose for watering. Have the hose come through the lid and attach the funnel. Keep the videos coming.

Another thought hoocho, would you be concerned that the temp/humidity probe would give skewed readings from mounting at the top like that? Especially when the fan is on. Wouldn't mounting it where the canopy is going to be give an optimum reading?
