Master The Multiple Chart Layout: Tutorial

Let's talk about syncing charts within your layout - yep, you read that correctly. Sync and group separate charts within your layout creating a workspace within a workspace.

For example, in a 2x2 chart layout that shows 4 charts in total, you can have 2 charts synced to show the same symbol while the other two are completely separate. Or, if you're looking for more professional ways to do it, you can sync the other 2 charts to an entirely new feature.

Thanks for the video--very helpful! Two suggestions: Firstly, say I have same ticker on a Quad layout with different indicators like point and figure, Renko, my EW counts and a blank chart for miscellaneous analysis. It would be super helpful to be able maximize each layout and navigate each one with a button click. I thought you already have that, but it is for moving left or right on the chart. This feature is one of my favorites on TDAmeritrade's Thinkorswim platform, and I love it. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to save on data when in maximized mode allowing other inactive layout to go in hibernation. That will go as far in reducing overall live data usage and maximizing your charting experience by capping your computers resource requirements. Thanks for the consideration.

when i use the multi chart the second or to fourth screen does not follow the main for indicator, it will show the previous settings, any advise >?

Everyone is posting their wants, so am just posting mine. I have the pro plus plan and I just think that having just 4 charts for the plan is rather limiting for what we pay. I feel like having 6 charts would be just enough for what I need. I just wish that the plan had six instead of four, but oh well. I just can't justify going to the next plan because I still don't use all of the features that the pro plus has yet.

Question: Once a Chart Layout Configuration is chosen like "8 Charts" - is there a way to remove 2 charts from the bottom - so you have 4 charts on Top and 2 charts on bottom? Thank you. Paul

I have a question, how do you zoom in and out on one individual timeframe ? Because if im doing it on my multiple timeframe charts for example i zoom in on the 15 min chart all my other charts are automatically zoomed in also ...

I have a four chart layout with drawings for ES! in Day, 4H, 1H and 15min. Is it possible to sync the drawings only in the Day and 4HR instead of the whole four charts? Thank you!

I cant get the published charts being shared with me in multi chart. I can have one of the shared charts but it doesnt allow me to load a second saved chart. In essence i cant load charts individually or load saved charts.
