Rick realized immediately after his van conversion was complete that his life has changed forever. With this Van, he could travel the nomadic lifestyle and have more freedom. He built a custom campervan and it changed his life.

In today’s short video we feature Rick and his DIY GMC Savannah class B camper van build. There will be a full tour of this van on New Jersey Outdoor Adventures channel this Fall. #vanlife #campervan #liveoutlandish

That's how a camper review should be done. No need to spend 20 minutes on it. Nice build, nice review.

Being shorter than your van is wide is a real blessing.

This is by far the best most efficient use of the small space and still looks roomy and comfortable and functional! Well done 👍

Short, sweet, and concise. No long drawn out explanations and back story. Love it.

And there’s no mystery as to why he’s in such good shape. Keep living brother.

He was probably in the military once upon a time the way he is so organized and doesn’t mess around. He’s also in great shape!

Loved how effectively he explained the entire set up without it being long and drawn out. Very nice

Straight to the meat and potatoes, no self serving rambling, over explaining, or focusing on filming themselves over actual content. This fella should be the standard bearer for Youtube brevity.

I love that you don't have to convert anything to go to sleep but that you also have a couch to sit on, so sweet! Happy trails to you.

I really appreciate the speed with which he covers the amenities. Viewers don't have all day to listen to drawn out explanations of why things were done, or how. He just shows us the camper van, and I like it a lot. Job well done.

This has to be one of the cleanest standard van builds I've ever seen, kudos!

I would love to see our government provide a van like this to every homeless Vet and different designs & sizes to accomodate disabled Vets. Maybe have a campground in every State with bathrooms and showers. A gas pump, clubhouse with kitchen and a covered deck to bq on. Firepits to sit and socialize with other vets. Visting Nurses & Social workers who come once a week to check on their services and medical needs. This doesn't have to be expensive running the camp ground on solar even water purification system where you can use lake, river or rain water to process. The great thing about being mobile is they can stay stationary or drive to visit family or friends and when the van is no longer needed it could be passed on to another Vet.
Wouldnt you rather have your tax dollar go to someone who risked their lives for our country or send Trillions of our tax dollars go to foreign countries.

My late Dad would have LOVED this van. He had one that he was able to put an air mattress in when we went camping and us kids would sleep in tents. It was so much fun, except for when it rained. I always hated sleeping in a tent, but we got to stay up and hang out

The round cut for the bed and the fireplace are artfully done, you can tell he thought of every inch of the van a true work of art!

You know every inch, every screw, every wire. You’ll never get stumped by a problem. Way to go.

When he said “my deck…” I lost it. This man will experience more happiness in the next 6 mos traveling in this thing than I have in the past 15 yrs😔 God bless him
