Mum Tries Out Windows 10 Build 9841 (2014)

Windows 8 in Diana's opinion was a terrible operating system when she tried it out the first time, (however she did feel it was much better used on a tablet when she tried it out the second time). Microsoft have been at work on Windows 10 which aims to fix many of the complaints Diana and other users have been making. Find out if Diana approves these changes by watching this episode of OSFirstTimer!

Once the following tasks are done we take a look at some of the new features in Windows 10 such as virtual desktops and the awesome new start menu.

Tasks Given:
- What time is it?
- Write, Save and open a text document
- Calculate 28/3
- Change the desktop background/colour
- Check out new windows 10 features
- Turn off the computer

The mother in this video uses Windows 8.0 (2012) as her main os however she has installed the classic shell due to her Metro Hate. they didnt use windows 9 because a ton of windows programs use a rule that says if the os name starts with 9 then its windows 98 or 95

In 2014, my dad had installed windows 10 Techinical Preview on my computer, and oh boy was I shocked, Little 5 year old me was so confused when the computer said Hi to me.

Microsoft didn't use "Windows 9", because it would be confused with Windows 95 and 98.

Whats funny is virtually everything she did other than the start menu navigation and the metro apps she could do using the same procedures in Win 7 but she thought it was all new for WIndows 10.
