I think is is better to pay off the smallest debt first because she can clear the £1, 000 credit card debt in 3 months, she said she's applying £400 to debt every month. So minimum payments on the largest debts, and max payment on the smallest will clear it in 3 months or less. Once that smallest debt is gone she will get psychological boost and feel like she is getting somewhere. Then pay off the next smallest until all debt is gone. It might be slightly more expensive but it is better in terms of motivation and feeling like you are getting somewhere. Dave Ramsey can also provide motivation.
