Jay, when you make a statement like “you can’t have proper soteriology without proper Christology” aren’t we there acknowledging a hierarchy of concepts, as opposed to a web? Asking because I’m a beginner lol.

This sounds like the Paranoid Theory of Knowledge--that we must have "all of our metaphysical ducks in a row" before we can claim to know anything or do anything. The atheist scientist refutes it thus: takes us to the moon and back again.
