The images we’ve seen over the last few weeks are striking. Haitian migrants struggling to enter the southern border the United States, and some of them being repelled with force. But how did this situation come to be? Journalist and Haiti expert Jonathan M. Katz told Inside Edition Digital that many of the migrants left Haiti after the 2011 earthquake. “They've come to the United States hoping for a better life, and at the moment we are not letting them in,” he said. #InsideEdition #News

Haiti was the pearl of the caribbean and is the first caribbean country to gain independence but France didn't want to recognize it until haiti payed them 150 million dollars which is worth 4.2 billion today and in my opinion they should be refunded

When 'home's no longer home. it's really hard to find your footing when you move out of your comfort zone. I feel sad for these guys, and wish them the best.

Why would a bunch of people who claims to care about people allow them to suffer like this instead of allowing them to enter the country properly and safely?

Not all these so called " Hatian asylum seekers " should be accepted by the US GOVERNMENT. Most of them should be return to Hati for it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF HATI GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF IT'S OWN CITIZENS, AND THE US GOVERNMENT OR ANY OTHER COUNTRIES.

these Other country has it's OWN CITIZENS TO LOOK IN TO!

I can’t imagine! It makes me wonder how our souls chose our bodies and why I was fortunate enough for my soul to land in that of an American?!
