If your kid plays D&D you will never have to worry about them being addicted to Crack or Heroine. They won't be able to afford drugs after buying books, dice, minis, markers, pencils and paper. Especially the dice, you seem to ALWAYS need more dice no matter HOW MANY sets you already have.

Yeah, my entire party just tried to kill my Paladin for no reason my last session. They had just beaten the final boss of the story Arc, and my Paladin killed the boss who was a black Dragonborn. My barbarian, a gold Dragonborn, thought the boss was his father and attacked the Paladin. Everything went to shit then. With my sorcerer trying to mental prison the Paladin, the Cleric trying to raise the boss to be on their side and kill the Paladin, and the Paladin putting the final nail in his coffin. Fighting unnecessarily and becoming an Oathbreaker. Mission failed.
