The 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec Is An Upscale 6-Speed Civic Si Hatch

When the original #AcuraIntegra launched in America nearly 40 years ago, it became an instant hit with consumers and enthusiasts for its affordable price, sporty design, comfortable interior, and fun-to-drive nature. The last time America saw the #Integra name was 2001 and after 22 years, Acura has finally brought back the iconic name and for 2023, the new version will launch with three trim levels: Integra, #IntegraASpec and Integra #ASpec with Tech. It’s still based on the #HondaCivic, but with such good bones to start with, this new model should be an excellent option for enthusiasts looking for a 6-speed manual #CivicSi with a hatch. Expect a higher performance #IntegraTypeS to be introduced next.

The new Integra is finally here and it’s exactly what we expected, maybe not what we wanted, but for the minuscule price increase over the Honda Civic, this seems like the better deal! We should be driving one in mid-May! Stay tuned for full driving impressions then!

ILX at least offered an 8 speed automatic, there's no reason to downgrade to a CVT especially in a premium model as entry level as it is.

14:44 The metallic gray with the red interior looks awesome. Really hope people keep hating on this so dealers aren't encouraged to put a mark up on this. Would love to get the 6-speed manual A-Spec without the tech package to keep it under $40k after taxes and all the BS dealer fees. Either way, excellent video, very detailed

This thing needs the 2.0 turbo, maybe not tuned as hot as the Civic Type R but it at least needs the 270hp version of the 2.0. A manual or DCT and SH-AWD. If Acura could bring that to market in the low 40s it would be a Golf R competitor.

I was hoping that the SH-AWD rumor was true and that the CVT rumor was a lie. I was holding out hope but I just don’t get how they can make SUV’s like the MDX and RDX and put out such lack luster sedans.

Acura and Honda hold back. I think it’s to protect each other. Can’t give to much then it’ll be no purpose of the other.

Was that your knee popping at 6:00? 😳You're waay too young for that. 🙂❤ I love your reviews Sofyan. They are well organized and articulated with a great style and delivery. I could listen to you talk about cars all day long. Thank you.

Why would anyone buy this over a civic hatch? I remember a time when you actually received something of value for buying the Acura variant.

Honestly, aside from the looks, I'm not too upset. I love my 2005 TSX 6-speed and really see this more as a Civic Si Touring. It could have had a Honda badge, but for $35, 000, I'm not mad. I would actually consider a tech package 6 speed one.

This is literally a Civic with an Acura badge, disappointed that they didn’t change the interior at all.

It's a shame that a Gsr was putting 180 HP 20 years ago, form a naturally aspirated b18c1.
20 years later, here you go folks! 20 more HP, have a blast!

I didn't like the yellow one when they showed it a few months ago but the red one without the integra decals on the side looks pretty nice!

Its crazy how Honda Inc. makes great cars, and never stray from a design look running thru its lineup. The TLX and its all new look made fans crazy, until it underperformed. The 2 gen. NSX gave us the new direction of hybrid supercar engineering. But the Integra has the TLX lights, and lacky engine. I would buy a Civic Si or R . If not buying the Elantra N, Veloster N, or Lexus UXH.

I can wait until the type s comes out and it’s sh-awd manual . I just sold my tl last year and I’ve been waiting for Acura to come out with my next purchase. They’re so close!

Minus the yellow and minus the crappy graphics and it looks alright. The body lines pop up a lot more in the red and blue compare to the yellow in the prototype.

I love it. Only gripe is the CVT.

Im 6ft 9inches, I purchased a 20' Civic Sport Hatch CVT new while in University. Love the car, but it feels a little cheapie and also I'd like a manual once my abusive inner city driving to school is over. Considering my height, I've always had problems fitting into sunroof cars. I really like this Acura and would love to have it once I start working in Accounting, but if I cannot fit then I guess I will be opting for the 11th gen Civic Sport Hatch 6 speed

They’re saying mid 30k but the greedy dealer markups will definitely keep a lot people away! And Honda/Acura doesn’t seem to care about their customers and lets the dealer screw the customers with high markups. I’ll keep my 10th gen Si. Thank you very much.
