Hands down the best Incineroar guide for competitive players. Instead of saying “use this for this, this can sometimes combo (and then messing it up)”, you actually give applicable tips for mid levels players. I have a tournament Friday and I main Incin and secondary Chrom for bad matchups. I’ll be sure to practice this.

theres a lot of advanced things incineroar mains need to know also. like d throw can only confirm with up air with some characters like pikachu. side b on edge trap exists and can end stocks ridiculously early, theres a surefire way to hit it, you stand almost max distance and press it as soon as they begin to come up, this is countered by them jumping from edge, do not spam this strategy as it will only usually work once or twice (also your fair beats a lot of other aerials and changes how incineroar is positioned). if characters are spamming laggy projectiles on battlefield you can cross chop over it and actually clip through the corners of the platforms and hit them, you have to predict this and know your spacing though as it has crazy lag on impact. also you can jump and spam dair on edge if youre against someone like mewtwo who warps, its a quick and easy way to guarantee a hit and if u miss there is no repercussions. if the enemy has a damage over time like pikmin then you can revenge multiple times depending on the pikmin, but using an attack while pikmin are attached soak the revenge. its a good option to approaching olimar if he sticks you with white, jump at him and down b while it ticks. only works in some matchups but you can spam dair on platforms trying to approach and actually camp out the opponent because incineroar is terrifying to get hit by.

I have a pocket Incineroar because I find him really fun to play. I didn't know the limits of a lot of his attacks, and how well tilts and grabs combo'd at higher percents! Thanks for this vid, I think I'll have a stronger Incineroar after this!

If you happen to have an enemy at the literal edge, if you grab and downthrow at 0-15% you can true combo into downair spike and kill half of the characters. Dont bait into it, but if you happen to be in the right spot, execute your opponent.
